Orchestra of the Bronx comes to Lehman Performing Arts Center

On Sunday, June 11 at 3 p.m., in Lehman College’s Lovinger Theatre at 250 Bedford Park Blvd., Michael Spierman, founder and conductor of the 400-member Orchestra of the Bronx, returns with a concert of Mendelssonhn’s Symphony No. 3 in A minor as well as “Scottish,” and the Tschaikowsky Violin Concerto in D Major, featuring guest violinist Patrick Doane.

The company’s mission is to enable people of all income levels to experience the beauty of the concert — which continues to be free of charge with no registration.
