Art association hosts Olga Kitt

Riverdale artist Olga Kitt will give a lecture as well as a slideshow presentation of her work at the next Riverdale Art Association meeting on Tuesday, April 8, at 7 p.m., at Atria at Riverdale, 3718 Henry Hudson Parkway.

Ms. Kitt will share some of her experiences as a student of Hans Hoffman, her education in the arts and her successful career as an artist and teacher. Ms. Kitt has been in 10 one-woman shows and her work is in many permanent collections, including at the Bronx County Historical Society.

Paintings and pastels ranging from realism to abstraction and the current street art of graffiti will be viewed and discussed.
