Police said Tsui D’Adamo, wife of Deputy Inspector John D’Adamo, commanding officer of the 52nd Precinct and former commander of the Five-O, lied to up-state police when she said she had been beaten by two men last week.

On Feb. 14, around 2:30 p.m., she told police that she was assaulted by “two black males, one with jeans, a black polo type jacket and a yellow bandana,” Sergeant Harry Baumann, public information officer of the Clarkstown Police Department, said.

However, when Ms. D’Adamo was interviewed by police “a couple of days later” she changed her story and confessed she made up the beating.

“Whatever injuries she had, we feel that were probably self-inflicted. And it was only bump and bruises, it wasn’t real serious injuries,” Sgt. Baumann said.

Clarkstown Police said Ms. D’Adamo was later taken in for psychiatric evaluation.

On Feb. 11, Deputy Inspector D’Adamo’s tires were slashed in front of his home in Clarkstown. Rockland County Police said they are still investigating the incident.

According to the New York Post, when Clarkstown cops went to talk to the Deputy Inspector about who could be behind both attacks, he confessed to being part of a love triangle. He said he was having an affair with another police officer that used to work for him and who was also in another relationship.

Sgt. Baumman said Clarkstown police didn’t have any information about the supposed affair.

Deputy Inspector D’Adamo, served the 50th Precinct from 2008 to 2009.
