Donald is just afraid of Kamala

To the editor:

How low can Trump and Republicans go?

I am not surprised that he calls the vice presidential nominee, Kamala Harris, names. After all, she’s a strong, intelligent woman. There is no one that has him trembling in his boots more than a strong, intelligent woman.

“Mad woman,” “nasty,” and many more epithets referring to Elizabeth Warren and other women we have come to know as his signature. But I can’t believe Donald Trump and his Republican cronies would have the chutzpah to promote the same meme they pulled on President Obama.

Kamala Harris was born and bred in California, and they are saying she is not a citizen because her parents were immigrants from India and Jamaica. Does Trump believe that African Americans are not really citizens of this country?

A perfect example: Ted Cruz ran for president, and he was born in Canada, and only his mother was born in America. Yet Donald Trump and the Republicans had no problem with that. But they had a problem with the citizenship of President Obama, whose mother was a white woman born in Kansas.

It is mind boggling that in 2020 how steeped in racism Trump and the Republicans still are.

Kamala Harris is smart, intelligent, and a fighter. Trump is sadly mistaken if he thinks his lies will go unanswered, or his bullying and name-calling will faze her.
