In his letter to The Riverdale Press defending his mishandling of the petitions circulated by the Unity Democratic Club which resulted in 1,100 Democrats being disenfranchised in the June 27 primary, Lewis Kaminski accuses the Benjamin Franklin Reform Democratic Club of acting “to make sure we stay stuck just where we are.”

If Mr. Kaminiski means stuck with the candidates we have endorsed and actively supported — Assemblyman Jeff Dinowitz, Councilman Eric Dinowitz, Congressman Ritchie Torres, District Attorney Darcel Clark, et al. — then we plead guilty.  Our membership has been proud to be part of their winning electoral coalitions.
