Lydia Dufour named to dean’s list

Lydia Dufour of Riverdale was given the honor of dean’s list during her fall 2023 semester at Slippery Rock University.

Dufour made the list by maintaining an adjusted semester grade-point average of 3.5 or higher, while juggling and earning 12 full credits.

Located in western Pennsylvania, Slippery Rock University was founded in 1889. It is a four-year public university offering a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs to its over 8,000 students.

The school is dedicated to intellectual development, leadership, and civic responsibility. The campus is amongst 10 institutions and 14 campuses that make up Pennsylvania’s State System of Higher Education.

Hofstra University’s dean list

Youbin Kim and Isabelle Moreno, both members of the class of 2025, have been added the dean’s list for the fall semester at Hofstra University. Kim is studying pre-physician assistant studies and Moreno is studying writing for the screen.

Students on the dean’s list must maintain a grade point average of 3.5 or higher throughout the course of the semester.

Hofstra University is dedicated to civic engagement, academic excellence, and shaping future leaders in their communities and careers. The school offers 175 undergraduate programs and 200 graduate programs under the various schools. They serve a community of nearly 11,000 students and are located in the Hempstead community of Long Island.

SNHU adds four to dean’s list

Elizabeth Benros, Carlos Gonzalez, Andrew Melendez, and Iris Almodovar were named to the dean’s list at Southern New Hampshire University for their work during the fall semester.

To be applicable for the dean’s list full-time students must maintain a minimum grade-point average of 3.5 to 3.69.

Southern New Hampshire University is a private institution with a campus in Manchester, New Hampshire, and all accredited programs are available online. The university offers more than 200 accredited undergraduate, graduate, and certificate programs. The school has been previously recognized by the U.S. News & World Report as one of the most innovative regional universities and one of the fastest-growing universities in the country.
