New Lehman Center season kicks off with a salsa concert

Lehman Center for the Performing Arts recently announced its preview lineup for the 2023-24 season, which will feature salsa, mariachi and comedy to name a few.

The concert schedule for this fall includes Tito Nieves and friends, Raymond Pozo and Miguel Cespedes, Mariachi Herencia de Mexico, a tribute to ABBA and Sesiones Desde La Loma Pa’ New York. The season is sponsored by Goya Foods.

“From the day Lehman Center opened its doors 43 years ago, it has been the home for great live performances and experiences that we cherish for many years to come,” said Eva Bornstein, the center’s executive director, in a release. “All of us ‘behind the scenes’ deeply value the commitment you make when purchasing tickets to our events or contributing to Lehman Center.”

Tito Nieves & Friends

Saturday, Oct. 21, 8 p.m.
Tickets: $125, $95, $75, $60, $50

International salsa star Tito Nieves returns to Lehman Center for a night of hits such as “Fabricando Fantasias,” “El Amor Más Bonito,” and “Tuyo.” Additionally, Daniela Darcourt, currently nominated for the Latin Grammy Award for Best Salsa Album, will perform, making it a musical night to remember. The show will also feature Kevin Ceballo and Rumberos del Callejon.

Raymond Pozo & Miguel Céspedes: Three Decades of Comedy

Saturday, Nov. 11, 8 p.m.
Tickets: $100, $85, $65, $40, $35

Three decades after starting their comedy careers, Raymond Pozo and Miguel Céspedes will meet their New York City fans at Lehman Center for a night guaranteed to cure your boredom!

Mariachi Herencia de México

Sunday, Nov. 12, 4 p.m.
Tickets: $55, $45, $35 (No balcony)

The energetic, virtuosic Latin Grammy-nominated group has issued chart-topping albums and performed across the North American continent — Nuestra Herencia, their 2017 debut album, topped the Latin streaming charts.

Arrival From Sweden: Tribute To ABBA

Sunday, Nov. 18, 8 p.m.
Tickets: VIP $75, $60, $50, $40, $35

Arrival From Sweden was founded in 1995 and very soon became one of the world’s most popular ABBA tribute shows. Since the start in 1995 the band has toured in over 70 countries.
