Posted

Police say they have found three girls reported missing on Tuesday, and that they are safe.

Our original story below:

Investigators say the girls were last seen just after 8 p.m., on Iselin Avenue, which police also list as their home address. There are no details about how they are missing, or what may have led to their disappearance.

Police, however, are looking for Antionette Hamilton, Marcayla Gardner and Annaya Fryer.

Antionette is 12 years old, 4-foot-6, 145 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing a pink jacket, black shirt, black pants and black shoes.

Marcayla also is 12, described as 5-foot-6, 130 pounds, brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing a black jacket, a red bandanna, and was carrying a black backpack.

Annaya is 11 years old, and is 5-foot-4, 120 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing a black sweater, black jacket, black leggings, and she also was carrying a black backpack.

The address the three girls share is the home of the Henry Ittleson Center, a residential treatment facility for children run by the The Jewish Board. The 32-bed facility focuses on children between the ages of 5 and 13, according to the center's website.

Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of these three girls is asked to call the New York Police Department's Crime Stoppers hotline at (800) 577-8477, or by logging into the Crime Stoppers website at NYPDCrimeStoppers.com. They also can message the police department on Twitter through @NYPDTips.

All calls, police say, are confidential.
