Riverdale Temple is taking donations for asylum seekers

The Riverdale Temple is accepting donations for asylum seekers living in the Van Cortlandt Motel, according to Jeff Sklar, co-chair of the temple’s social action committee.

To donate, all a donor has to do is go to RiverdaleTemple.org, click on the “donate/pay” tab, go to “donations,” then “general donation don-1,” and enter a donation amount with the purpose specifying “asylum seekers,” he said.

The “in honor/memory of” field is required but can include any name, including that of the donor.

It should be noted only single men are living in the Van Cortlandt Motel shelter.
